East Point College of Nursing is managed under an educational institution Jnana Prabha Campus of the MG Charitable Trust that not only covers this college but also dwells other educational institutes ranging from technology to humanities and health sciences including East Point College of Medical Sciences & Research Center, Engineering and Technology, College of Management, College of Pharmacy, PU Colleges and Schools. This College was established in the year 1998, with the courses like; Diploma in General nursing and Midwifery, B.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing in affiliation to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and Karnataka Nursing Council. The college management is guided by Dr. S M Venkatpathi, the managing trustee and the founder of the MG Charitable Trust. Even though located in the urban site of Bangalore this college is spaciously surrounded by the greenery in a natural eco-friendly atmosphere unreachable from the crowds and pollution of the city. This college has its own parental hospital East Point Hospital which has been providing health care services to hundreds of communities located around the area. The staffs and the students in this college formed a community with an aspect of cooperating on co-curricular fields by engaging in an aim to nurture the activities and specialties of likeminded personals for their all rounded progress and successful career.
